System unusable after around kernel 6.18.8

Hey, I recently tried updating my KDE Fedora installation and while there were no issues during the process, after rebooting to the newest kernel (6.18.12), the system became unusable.

It boots into the SDDM greeter just fine and I can even log in, however once I’m in, I’m greeted by my cursor and a black screen. None of the Plasma keyboard shorcuts work expect the hot corner overview, but that’s not really useful.

Hoping it was just I one-off issue I just rolled back to 6.18.8 hoping that the next kernel update would be fine, but 6.18.13 still exhibits the same problem.

Can you roll back?

Yes, as mentioned I rolled back to 6.18.8 and it works just fine.

Well, It works now :smiley: I’m pretty sure it was just Nvidia stuff.
