Switching to Vivaldi browser

I have vivaldi browser installed and in vivaldi a socalled Progressive Web app for Lyrion. Works fine but if I want to switch to the vivaldi browser I hit a snag. Clicking on the task area icon only shows the Lyrion progressive app.

Now it could be that Vivaldi browser does not behave well but how would I switch to the VIvaldi browser with one click?

I’ve found a work around and that is Alt +Tab . This allows me to switch between the two (and other applications)

But how does this taskbar grouping work or is supposed to work?

Grouping in the taskbar is based on the window’s WMClass property.
Each PWA is defined as a desktop launcher with a unique WMClass.
It should start working after you reopen the PWA using its launcher.
At least this is how it works for me in F43 WS using Vivaldi Stable RPM.

Does that mean I can (should) not attach Vivaldi progressive web apps to the taskbar?

This works irrelevant to app pinning in GNOME, so it should be similar for Budgie.
