Suspend does not work on fedora 35 gnome

Hi.
On my system fedora 35 gnome (wayland) the suspend does not work. It works in fedora kde, it even works in endeavour os system (gnome wayland). It also works in fedora 35 gnome (x-org), but not very well. When using xorg, the touchpad gestures stop working.
The system does not go into suspend. But if it does, when I try to turn it on, the fn key lights up, the cooler works, but the screen is black.
I know that many people have this problem, but I have not been able to solve it from the advice on the various forums. Help me please.

Have you tried with old kernel version does that works.

I first installed this system three weeks ago (i got a new laptop). At that time it had kernel version 5.14 installed, if I am not mistaken. And even then nothing was working.
I think this is quite strange because endeavour always has a fresh kernel (it’s arch linux), but there were no such problems. Just arch linux is not for me

It seems like a bug you can bug report in bugzilla Log in to Red Hat Bugzilla

Thanks, I’ll do it.

I’m having the same problem and downgrading to kernel 5.14 solved my problem.

Is there already a bug ticket for this problem?

Have you tried boot with the updated kernel again and make sure that you are facing issue in the updated kernel.

Another kernel update arrived today. And I have a feeling that it fixed something. It fixed it badly, because the laptop took a very long time to go into suspend, but went away and even turned on after that. I will be testing more.

I think I found someone in Bugzilla that described the problem perfectly: 2029207 – Laptop does not wake up from suspend w/ kernel 5.15
