Support for the fingerprint reader 27c6:550a

Hi Fedora users,

Please let me know if a support for the fingerprint reader 27c6:550a would be added to Fedora in the coming days.

I checked this post, where a similar discussion is in progress, but no clear solution is available.

Also, this link from “libfprint” says that this fingerprint device may not even be supported at all.

Please let me know if there’s anything that can be done.

I am not sure if people working on this do actually visit this place and will see your questions.

Try opening a new RFI at their issue tracker.
