Support for Chinese/ Taiwanese Keyboard

Hi All

I am trying to type in Chinese using either Chinese or Taiwanese keyboard. Operating System: Fedora Linux Asahi Remix 44, KDE Plasma Version: 6.7.4, however when I switch to either keyboard it does not change to the keyboard and continues in English.
Does anyone know how I could fix this problem?

Do you use fcitx5？Have you checked it in the virtual keyboard page in kde setting?
