General suggestion: I wanted to use XFS instead of BTRFS at time of install, but found the whole process frustating:
It wasn’t in the main flow, and hidden in a 3 dot overflow in a very non-obvious location. OK not the worse and I can live with it, BUT
This only takes me to an area where I have 0 partitions to start with and I can’t just pick XFS. Now I have to somehow know the default 3-4 partitions for fedora and create them all completely by hand. Why can’t I just pick some default template here and XFS to have them create? Instead I have to:
a) create /boot/efi, and remember it’s about 600mb and FAT32
b) create /boot, remember to use 2gb, and ext4 (I think? or can this be xfs also?)
c) create /, and set to XFS instead of BTRFS
d) create /home, and also set to XFS
Just incredibly finnicky/fussy and manual vs just letting me pick XFS instead of BTRFS for a setup. Maybe I’m missing something but I hate having to go through this on every install.

When I do partition a server I lime to have a sufficiently large /var as a separate partition.
