Sudden wifi issues

So I recently had my wifi working perfectly, but suddenly when I turned my computer back on it stopped, and when i checked the lspci it found a different wifi device model?

The device went from the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 to the Intel® Wireless-AC 9462/9560. I thought this was weird, but I installed the firmware accordingly and nothing. I did both the 9462 and the 9560 just to be sure. I put the .tgz file in /lib/firmware/rtlwifi as I did previously.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What got updated between the last time it worked and the first time it did not?

Is the wireless hardware on-board (i.e. inside the system unit), or is it removable (USB)?
