Description
PostScript, GhostScript, hplip, and GutenPrint, pappl based printer apps.
Installation Instructions
For PostScript:
# dnf install ps-printer-app
$ ps-printer-app server
For GhostScript:
# dnf install ghostscript-printer-app
$ ghostscript-printer-app server
For hplip:
# dnf install hplip-printer-app
$ hplip-printer-app server
For GutenPrint:
# dnf install gutenprint-printer-app
$ gutenprint-printer-app server
The server, once started, can be found at http://localhost:8000
Service files are also provided for system wide printers. For example, to use the service for ps-printer-app:
# sudo systemctl start ps-printer-app.service
The server will listen on port 8### where ### will be the UID for the ps-printer-app user (which can be found in the /etc/passwd file), for example if ps-printer-app has UID 981, the server will be listening at http://localhost:8981
