Sssd_kcm.log read error on silverblue 41 beta

i get this error every now and then on idle terminals

sssd_kcm[46795]: Could not open file [/var/log/sssd/sssd_kcm.log]. Error: [13][Permission denied]

obviously changing permissions temporarily isn’t a fix. any suggestion?
