Spell checking missing in macOS firefox

When I am composing a topic of reply on my iPAD’s Safari or Fedora’s Firefox the spell checker is available.

But when I’m editing on macOS with Firefox there is no spell checker.

Anyone else see this or know what I can do to fix it?

Hi Barry,

I don’t think this is a forum issue, nor is it a Fedora issue. You probably need to install some language packs for your Firefox on macOS.

If that doesn’t solve it, please ask on a Firefox/MacOS forum and folks there will be able to help.

Thanks for the follow up. Spell check works in lots of other web pages.
This forum is the only odd one out.

I will try and find a forum for discuss itself and ask there.

I’d try a new firefox profile to see how that goes. It’s what we’d do if the issue was on a Fedora system.

Good idea, this is with a new profile and not spell checking.
