Speakers only produce sound when headphone jack is plugged

I’ve recently installed Fedora 37 on a Huawei Matebook 14s, and I’m observing some strange audio-related behavior.

Initially, everything appeared to be working fine, except for that my speakers did not produce any sound. According the the ‘Sound’ section in settings, it states that the output device is ‘Speaker - Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller’. However, when I plug a audio AUX cable into the headphone jack, output device switch to ‘Headphones - Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller’, and now the speakers produce sound as expected (although my headphones do not produce any sound).

Any ideas for how I might resolve the issue?
