Audinux — Monthly Report for September

Notes:

The build for Fedora 45 beta went fine. Around 1500 packages rebuilt. Took 5 days but a fantastic low rate of failure. I just needed afterwards to update some specs because of various problems, but that was not a huge quantity of work.

Some interesting new packages:

Hydra-rust was a new project made by GitHub - sova-org/hydra-rust: Prototype of hydra remade in Rust · GitHub . I then first tried to download user scripts from < hydra > to try to check the efficiency of hydra-rust. Then I used AI to add some features. First audio reactive functions (like a.fft) and then many fixes to improve the conformance of hydra-rust with the user base of scripts. This tool (either the web version or the rust one) is a fantastic tool to produce audio reactive videos.

In addition to these works around hydra-rust, many updates and some new package as usual.
