A lot of updates again for the Audinux repository.
First, you can find information related to this repository here:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ycollet/audinux
The news are here: Audinux | A Fedora COPR repository for Audio creation
The important things:
- sonic-pi 4.6.0-13
- tuxguitar 2.1.0-18
sonic-pi was not working for years now and great news, with the version 4.6.0, it worked again.
tuxguitar is always a great tool. I had hard time with this update because the build required the maven package and the maven package installed openjdk-lastest (26) but a priori required openjdk-25 to work … So, found a rapid fix and tuxguitar is working nicely.
There is also some new packages:
- Cagire → BuboBubo/Cagire: Forth music sequencer for live coding - Cagire - BuboGit, it’s a forth implementation for audio live coding.
- Mechanodd → GitHub - odoare/Mechanodd: Polyphonic physical-modelling synthesizer · GitHub, a new synthesizer
- LMTR → agrigolo/LMTR: A 16-tracks multitrack recorder for Linux, based on Jack. - Codeberg.org, a multitrack recorder
- hydra-rust → GitHub - sova-org/hydra-rust: Prototype of hydra remade in Rust · GitHub, a rust port of hydra, a tool for video creations for live coding
There are some other news, but I will let you check the news page on the website.
The website saw some improvements too: now, it will be possible to link some screenshots to specs and have these screenshots displayed in the Audinux search engine: Audinux Fedora Audio package faceted search
Have fun !
