To respond to the actual topic…
I reached out to Rob at Gnome Foundation, and as of now this is best described as a grey area. Neither of us currently identify this as something expected to be attributed. He’s going to look over some unpublished legal work product on his side and see if there is anything there that would speak to this.. and if so my understanding is we’ll talk more about how to move forward. He was already made aware of this, before I reached out to him and the fact that he didn’t throw a brick at my head to take a look at this (in a friendly tit for tat sort of way after the couple of months of poking him for updates) is suggestive to me that there’s probably isn’t something here that needs to be addressed. But if flathub for whatever reason decides this is something to document as an expectation, we’ll try to figure it out.
