Hi, Im using Nvidia Drivers for Fedora 43. Overall everything works great, however intermittently application windows are not repainting correctly and not responding to mouse input.
To try and resolve this I had installed X11 back, by following this link from COPR: Making sure you're not a bot!
The issue still did not go away. Guake Terminal among other apps were still intermittently bugging out for me on the Xorg session. Earlier I had logged another similar issue with Guake Terminal, but it was suggested to try with the Wayland session (Some Application windows are not repainting and responding to mouse input on Wayland), which seemed to fix this intermittent issue with Guake Terminal.
However, even with the Wayland session, I am still facing this issue intermittently, notably in Unity Game Engine, sometimes in file picker dialogs within other applications.
But this time, none of these apps were open, I was surely on Wayland session and was trying to edit a file in Gnome Text Editor, when the text editor itself started bugging out with the exact same issue.
Here is a video recording of the issue:
Here are the logs I have collected from immediately after the video recording as well:

Okay, here are the logs:

Thanks for taking time to look at this!
These logs are all from different times - are they supposed to be related to the issue? Not really sure what their purpose is…
The only output which seems to be relevant is the “App Journals” which shows Gnome logging the fact that “Text Editor” was editing a file and that “Text Editor” was expected to present a frame for compositing, and it did not do so.
What is “Text Editor”? Is it a standard Gnome application or some third party application?
Its the Gnome Text Editor that is opened in the video. Its standard part of gnome-shell I believe
That log line is from the same timestamp as the video, where the Gnome Editor window stopped repainting
