Skip/Shorten Timeout of Fingerprint Modal

Hi everyone!

I am currently using my laptop in a lid-closed, docked configuration, and I am experiencing some frustrations with the admin modals which appear when I open certain programs.

Is there a way to shorten the timeout of these modals or somehow conditionally disable them if the primary screen is off? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

just press cancel button and it will switch to password authentication

Hi Marko, thanks for your response. Unfortunately, this is not true. Selecting “Cancel” will close the modal entirely.

I ultimately ended up disabling fingerprint authentication entirely.
