I have a Dell Inc. Precision 3571, kernel version: Linux 6.12.6-200.fc41.x86_64, Windowing system: Wayland, OS name: Fedora Linux 41.20241231.0 (Silverblue). I installed NVIDIA drivers because nowayvu drivers are horrible. I see a lot of updates for Audio-Video. VLC plays *.mp4 video randomly. Anyway, the sound is usually so low I can’t watch anything except silent movies. Sometimes after an update the sound is loud to the point I don’t have to have the slider maxed out. It would be greatly appreciated if Audio-Video issues could be put to bed. I might even send the maintainer a blanket with cute little woodland creatures to show my appreciation.
Can you post the output of fpaste --sysinfo-audio --printonly
as pre-formated text </>
Thanks
