I wanted to test shim-16.1 on my test os (ext. ssd), but I can’t find any bodhi entry for F43 or F42. I found one for F41 though.
How did the shim package end up in updates-testing? It seems someone has tagged the package for f43-updates-testing, f42-updates-testing.
This is probably due to the fact that there are no specific RPMs for each release. All releases use the same RPM file.
Correct - shim is a rather “special” package (in that it is only built once for all versions of Fedora). This workflow isn’t supported by bodhi, so it’s pushed to the testing (and eventually, stable) repos in a way that bypasses bodhi. If you have feedback for the update, you can probably direct that at one of the QA related mailing lists (like the “test” list).
