Setting bluetooth off and keeping it off with a reboot

Why does Bluetooth keep turning-on on Fedora 41 Gnome?

You are asking about something that was done on fedora 36 which has been EOL and not supported for over 2 years.

I am moving your post to a new thread and closing the original (which has been necro for more than 2.5 years.)

There is a topic with somewhat of a solution and it covers all rfkillable devices. In that topic there are links to articles that explain why it is not easily accomplished yet but it is being worked on. See 16 and 20 to get the solution that has been working for me.

Thank you, Stephen!

I’d also check out BIOS (always seen the options on Dells); I prefer disabling wifi and BT from there in order to also remove the devices from lspci/usb and avoid resources being used.

Thank you but there are no such settings in the UEFI/BIOS of my Thinkpad.
