I recently logged into my desktop and was greeted with no panel; when I went into Tweaks and changed the theme from “Adwaita” to one I’ve never seen before and is not installed (“custom-accent-colors”), the panel magically appeared again.
Any ideas where I can start to debug this? Thanks…

Please see this thread on GitHub discussing the issue and “solution.” Essentially, using dconf reset -f /org/gnome/ from within another DE session is able to put GNOME back to default.
