I sent an email to reply to a topic yesterday and it disappeared.
I later logged via web and saw a banner that says:
So everyone has chance to talk and to reduce back-and-forth arguments, this topic is in “slow mode”. There must be at least 4 hours between replies from the same person.
I do not know if that is the cause, I did not know about this “mode” because I can’t see this kind of banners via email.
Either way a refusal to post should produce a notification email back to the sender that the email was dropped? This did not happen. Not sure if there is a solution here, but this unnecessarily censors people …
Ah searching for it I did find it, unfortunately it does not mention the topic, and it is not a reply (neither via subject nor with proper headers) so the message I sent, so it got lost and filed elsewhere.
It would be nice if the “error” message was an actual reply so it would be shown in the right place, but thank you for looking into this, appreciated!
