Was that Gnome or KDE?

With Gnome 49 - Wayland on my laptop Dell G3 3579

i5-8300H
1050ti
nvme drive

Driver for nvidia card was just installed with “akmod-nvidia” and is still detected following the update.

included some extra info because its more helpful than my main post.

I followed a different trajectory. About 2 weeks ago I installed F43 Kinoite RC on my Lenovo Legion laptop, knowing it was “just” an RC. The installer also made that very clear. I tried it first on an older and now spare laptop and I got no problems at all, so installing it on the main one was a normal thing to do.
With the daily atomic updates I simply rolled from the RC into the real deal and it’s al working, except for an issue I also had in F42 Kinoite and F42 KDE: Kwin crashes under certain conditions, but I can simply work around that so it is not a real problem, although it woud be great when a solution can be found.
What I did notice here on the various Fedora webpages, but it can be me, is that the F43 release was a bit tame, especially when compared with the F42 release. But okay, 42 is a magic number, when you like the movie, but still, there was not much hussle and bussle about it. It was just there at a certain moment. Coming from the RC I didn’t even know when it was no longer an RC anymore.
For me it was a great experience to get the new release, so thanks everyone.

Same experience for several releases - thank you Team Fedora! :star_struck:

This time I used the DNF5 command line to upgrade to F43 on two laptops and a server - flawless!!! Upgrading Fedora Linux Using DNF System Plugin
