Sealed Fedora Atomic Desktop bootable container images

Article Summary:

New test images for the Fedora Atomic Desktops with a new feature from bootc.

Article Description:

The development of composefs & UKI support in bootc has reached the point that where we can start producing test images and have them available for the community to test and report issues.

I would like to announce those test images at the same time as the Fedora 44 release and link to this article in the “Future development” of the “What’s new for Atomic Desktops” article.

I have read and understand the Ai-Assisted Contributions Policy

Since you want to cross link these before they are published, you should be able to set the “slug” (i.e., the part of the URL that will follow https://fedoramagazine.org/) by clicking the “Quick Edit” link under your article’s title in the Posts tab of the WP Engine Dashboard view. With the slug set and with public preview enabled, you should even be able to test the final version of the link before the articles are published.

FYI.

Hum, I can see the slug but I can not edit it

Ah never mind, I did not look at the right place.

Done, thanks!

@siosm I’ve edited (nothing to change really) and added a feature image. If that meets your approval, the article should be ready to go on release day AFTER the “What’s New…” article.
