OS= Fedora Linux 37 x86_64
DE: LXQt
WM: Openbox (X11)
My sddm-greeter always show “Session” as “LXQt Desktop”
I add an another user. That’s all I did.
And “Session” transformed to “a-b-R-a-c-A-b-r-a LXQt”
see screenshots
ugly…
How can I fix it?
Thanx.

I think the last/default session is stored in /var/lib/sddm/state.conf
. Maybe you could change that file to what you want and make it read-only? I’m not sure.

/var/lib/sddm/state.conf lead me to /usr/share/xsessions/lxqt.desktop
Changed
Name[uk]=Стільниця LXQt
to
Name[uk]=LXQt Desktop
This is, of course, clumsy work
but problem solved for me
