Screen goes black immediately after locking with Super+L

Hi, when I lock my laptop’s screen with Super+L, I see the lock screen for a split-second but the screen immediately goes black. Is there a way to make it stay on the lock screen?

Running F43 with GNOME, everything’s up to date.

Doesn’t occur on KDE, so I presume this is purely a Gnome issue.

KDE has a power management setting to control this:

I would assume Gnome has the same, somewhere. Have you had a poke around in the power management aspect of Gnome? Apologies for not being more precise - I’m not a Gnome user so I don’t know what is available to you on that DE.
