Hi everyone, I am a new packager.
I’ve submitted my first package for review and I’m looking for a sponsor.
Package: sckoc - a read-only hardware monitor for Intel and AMD servers.
It reports per-socket and per-core voltage, temperature, frequency
(core/mesh/IOD/DRAM), power (RAPL, PL1/PL2, PPT) and C-state residency.
Being strictly read-only, it works under Secure Boot and kernel lockdown.
Review request: 2497962 – Review Request: sckoc - Read-only hardware monitor for Intel and AMD servers
Current state of the review materials:
- Builds cleanly on fedora-43, fedora-44 and rawhide (verified via COPR
and fedora-review-service). - The automated fedora-review report passes cleanly: ships a sckoc(1)
man page, SPDX license identifiers in all source files, and the
canonical GPL-2.0 license text. The only remaining rpmlint messages
are dictionary false positives on device paths quoted in %description
(/dev/cpu/*/msr, /dev/hsmp). - Upstream: GitHub - SkyWalkerAMD/sckoc: hardware monitoring tools · GitHub (all original code,
GPL-2.0-only).
I’d be grateful if someone could review it, and I’m happy to do
informal reviews of other packages in return to learn the process.
Thanks!
