Ryzen 3500u vega 8 integrated graphic drivers

i have asus vivobook ryzen 5 3500u vega 8. I want to download radeon graphic driver same like windows how do i download it? I want to download all required graphic drivers for my laptop to give it best performance.

No need to do that amd drivers all are well integrated into the kernel itself if you still find any issue report here after installation and for sure before doing that make dnf update. It will solve most of the driver issues if it is in the first place i also have amd components and never have issues with drivers. linux is extremely mature and everything well integrated os unlike windows. in general you don’t need to do anything after installation it will work for amd.

I’m telling you my experience when i’ve tried this with my ryzen 5 2500u, don’t do it, maybe you can try other OS that is more friendly with the installation of proprietary drivers like manjaro or ubuntu.

This is an answer from a reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/iokfid/confused_about_amdgpupro_is_it_worth_installing/):

As long as you don’t use closed source CAD software, there is no reason to use AMDGPU-Pro. Recent Mesa drivers (use Oibaf PPA) are as fast, if not faster and more compatible in many occasions. Be sure to manually set RADV_PERFTEST=aco for Mesa versions < 20.2.0.

If you need for specific applications read this comment on the same thread:

If you want to try (this is the most recent version that google shows):

What you mentioned It is for amd gpu pro but vega 8 is a integrated gpu so it is opensource as amd provide drives open source and support linux unlike nvidia…

He should be okey with fedora with 3500u

If searching for alternative like pop os is also there and a good option over ubuntu.

The conversation is very confusing so I am not totally sure what is being requested here. Just in case, to be clear amdgpu and amdgpu-pro are not the same thing.

On linux, the amd gpu drivers are open source and included. You don’t need to download them separately as you would on other operating systems.
