`rpm-ostree` Update Fails: No Valid Mirrors Were Found in Mirrorlist

Hi, I just tried to update my Kinoite system and received the following error:

rpm-ostree update
error: While pulling fedora/42/x86_64/kinoite: No valid mirrors were found in mirrorlist 'https://ostree.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist'

It seems that the only mirror (https://d2uk5hbyrobdzx.cloudfront.net/) in the mirrorlist is currently unavailable, as I get a 404 error when accessing it directly. Could this be a server-side issue?

Thank you in advance.

I see a similar message on Silverblue. It must be related to the datacenter move.

End user services such as: docs, mirrorlists, dns, pagure.io, torrent, fedorapeople, fedoraproject.org website, and tier0 download server will be unaffected and should continue to work normally through the outage window.

I don’t think we should be getting this error? Docs were out as well but briefly. Perhaps there are some unforeseen issues.

I am also having this issue now.

Yes, it’s ongoing.

Yes, same error here.

Same error here.

Sorry folks are seeing this, we intended this part to be transparent.

Anyhow, I have just pushed a invalidation to clear the cloudfront cache
and hopefully sync up to the new datacenter backend.

So, please wait a bit then retry and hopefully things will be back
working.

Sorry for the trouble
