on budgies budgie-desktop 10.9.3 how do I reveal the hidden task bar?
I’ve never used budgie but the usual modus operandi of any hidden panel is
- Hover the mouse pointer where it should be; it should appear.
- Press the Super/Meta key; It should appear.
What do you get with both of those? Nothing? Has the panel “crashed”?
Exactly, It doen’t, is the reason why I asked. ![]()
The Super key only shows the menu, not the dock. Frequently but not always.
Is the implementation of the Bottom Dock Automatically Hide: Intelligent/Automatic just buggy?
Maybe - as I say, I’ve never used it.
Apparently Super+A will open Raven, which is the right sidebar. Doing this forces the panel open and re-evaluate its auto hide setting. Does that do anything?
You can check if it’s actually running (and hasn’t just crashed) with ps aux | grep budgie-panel
Looks like Super+A does show both the side bar and the dock, indeed. have to test this on more machines. It’s workably workaround.
