Hadn’t used my silverblue 30 installation for a while and after I did the usual rpm-ostree upgrade, the sysctl reboot would just freeze. Could only turn off/on the box.
Finally, (I think) the following succeeded:
‘#’ Clean everything
rpm-ostree cleanup -b -m -p -r
rpm-ostree refresh-md
rpm-ostree upgrade
sudo sync
sudo systemctl reboot
