How can I remove a widget from the taskbar at the bottom
(under fedora 43 KDE plasma)?

Right-click on the panel and select “Show Panel Configuration” from the popup menu.
Then, as you run your mouse over each widget on the panel, it will pop up a menu allowing you to “Configure” or “Remove” it, like this:
