Regression on Intel NUC 13 Pro - thunderbolt driver

Hey,

I have upgraded to F43 recently my Intel NUC 13 Pro and shortly after I started getting many input/output errors. The system mounted in RO so I could not investigate further but there were few messages in the system journal:

Nov 16 18:59:29 virt.home.lan kernel: critical medium error, dev sda, sector 4360 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x80700 phys_seg 31 prio class 2
Nov 16 18:59:29 virt.home.lan kernel: critical medium error, dev sda, sector 4360 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 1 prio class 2
Nov 16 18:59:29 virt.home.lan kernel: Buffer I/O error on dev dm-11, logical block 33, async page read

I replaced the external HDD thinking it died with a brand new SSD but after few days the same story - the system locks up itself in RO.

I experience this behavior when an external drive is connected to the USB3/Thunderbolt port, I do not see any issues with regular USB3 ports. So I wonder is there maybe a regression in the thunderbolt driver or something? Or could this be the board chip dying?

SMART reports no problems, so it is gotta be either chipset or software bug.
