Regarding the issue of missing text in System Settings

Today, while adjusting the font settings in KDE’s System Settings, I noticed that the text for the specific subpixel rendering options is missing. What could be causing this issue? My current system language is Simplified Chinese.

It’s a missing translation upstream in KDE. (You can see the translation file here and see that those strings are missing a translation.)

You could raise a bug on the KDE bug tracker. I think the “Product” should be i18n and the “Component” should be zh_CN.

Just a curious question from me: how would you translate these? 红绿蓝 and 蓝绿红?

What I meant to ask about is the missing text at the bottom. I wouldn’t translate “RGB” and “BGR” themselves, since their descriptions are currently missing.

Ah! You mean, why don’t you see the Chinese equivalent of “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”?
