Recovery entry in GRUB refers to Fedora 35

I’m running Fedora 36 and it works well. However, the Grub menu shows a recovery entry labelled Fedora 35. I installed Fedora 35 and then upgraded to 36 when it became available. Is this Grub entry normal? What is it exactly?

The recovery entry doesn’t get updated unless you manually do it. So you can end up with some very old recovery entries on systems that have been upgraded through many iterations. Often they won’t work for recovery in those cases.

How do you manually update recovery?

Well, off of the top of my head, I don’t know about the recovery image. I suppose you could boot into it and do a dnf update.
