Rebase to fedora 34 blackscreen after boot with nvidia

i get a black screen after boot on fedora 34 when using

rd.driver.blacklist=nouveau modprobe.blacklist=nouveau nvidia-drm.modeset=1

kargs tested booting with nouveau and it works fine

does gnome 40 is not compatible with nvidia drivers ?

It’s more probably Fedora 34’s kernel not being supported by NVIDIA drivers. Can you check your system logs?

I am getting the same error. I managed to boot to F34 with GNOME 40 with the NVIDIA drivers for the 5.12.8-200.fc33 kernel, but not for the 5.12.8-300.fc34. It seems like an issue with kernel rather than with GNOME, as @siosm said… Any clues on how to fix it? I tried reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers but still no luck…
