Rawhide - unable to install vlc - no libFLAC.so.8

there seems to be a dependency problem in rawhide - for some days now
when I try to install (or upgrade) vlc, this happens:

 Problem: package vlc-1:3.0.18-0.1.rc.fc38.x86_64 requires libvlccore.so.9()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed
  - package vlc-1:3.0.18-0.1.rc.fc38.x86_64 requires vlc-core(x86-64) = 1:3.0.18-0.1.rc.fc38, but none of the providers can be installed
  - conflicting requests
  - nothing provides libFLAC.so.8()(64bit) needed by vlc-core-1:3.0.18-0.1.rc.fc38.x86_64

if I try to install all packages in ‘sound and video’ group I get similar problems too
it seems that there is a dependency problem around the library object libFLAC.so.8
I know it’s normal to encounter problems in rawhide but I wonder if there is a way to fix this

You have to wait for the vlc maintainer to get around to rebuild vlc with the new versions if libraries.
