I have got Raspberry Pi 3 with Waveshare LCD 5’ HDMI LCD which I use to my own projects. I decided to try a spin of Fedora Server for RPI which is much better than Raspbian for me. I have got one big problem with LCD, install script (on github /waveshare/LCD-show/blob/master/LCD5-show - I can add only two links this is third) for it is written for debian (Raspbian). Is possible to run this LCD on Fedora? From what should I start, please give me some tips or information is this possible at all.
I bought one of their screens. despite using GPL components in their drivers, they have not released the code, and refuse to answer requests for source.
