After a reboot this morning scaling of a QEMU/KVM does work but the scale is about 50% all of asudden. Size of the VM does change but to a very small size. Where can I reset this to what was working (100%) normally?
Maybe play with the settings in the View/Scale menu?
What is your screen resol;tion on the desktop kscreen-doctor -o?
And what is the OS and screen resolution chosen in the VM?
I’m on a 4k screen scaled to 125% with VM using 1920x1080 that fill most of the screen for me.
I’m not sure anymore what happend (I was giving a lecture for 100 people, never trust fedora working in such a stressful situation) but it seems I had one display (FHD) locked (replica of) with the main high res display and havoc commenced. It seems the 100% scaling was locked to the high res display showing tiny text with no scaling because of the other screen. I did a hard reset of the workstation and reconnected the displays this time without doing replica but overlapping the two screens manually (one on 200% the other on 100%)
