I’m trying to figure out something that I’m pretty sure isn’t a technical problem, but rather a user error problem.
My two young kids share a laptop running Fedora 40. Among other things, they play Minecraft on it. Over the last few days, they’ve described (and now I’ve seen once) a repeated issue where the younger kid, while playing Minecraft, gets logged out of the user account, landing on the GNOME Display Manager screen.
This hasn’t happened while the older kid is playing, and I don’t see anything in Problem Reporting (but I haven’t yet looked any deeper than that), so I’m thinking that it must be some keyboard shortcut that the younger kid is accidentally invoking.
But what / how? I’ve looked at GNOME keyboard shortcuts and I’m puzzled. Super-L locks the screen, but doesn’t log out the user. Does Fedora enable its own shortcuts? Are there any other ideas?
