Problems with printer Canon MF210-series driver

Hello!

When upgrading from Fedora 40 to 42, I wasn’t able to install the aforementioned driver. As I understand it, Canon drivers haven’t been updated in a long time, and support was only possible thanks to the presence of older packages in the Fedora 40 release. Is there any way to restore compatibility? I’ll provide the exact printer model later — just writing this now so I don’t forget.

How is the printer connected to your Fedora system? If the printer supports WiFi it should be capable of using Apple Airprint driverless printing. In linux, IPP is compatible with Airprint (until Apple changes Airprint).

Printer connected by usb to Fedora. Printer model is i-SENSYS MF212w. And sistem look printer, problems is in driver.

Replace: redhat-lsb-core → neokylin-lsb-core
