A while back I made the happy discovery that Airplay support is baked into Pipewire.
A simple
pactl load-module module-raop-discover
And suddenly my homepod mini was available as a sink. However at some point over the months pipewire started adding bogus instances
They all look identical, but clicking on any but the “correct” one will kill my gnome session and kick me back to GDM.
Any suggestions on a fix/workaround? Or way to diagnose in more detail. My knowledge of Pipewire is pretty minimal as normally It Just Works.
