Problem with upgrade Fedora 42 -> 43

Hi,

while trying to upgrade I got some cryptic error messages I cannot get my head around, and I could not find a similar problem/resolution online, so I hope someone can help me get to the botton of this:

~$ sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=43

Problem 1: installed package rpmfusion-nonfree-release-42-1.noarch requires system-release(42), but none of the providers can be installed
  - fedora-release-kde-42-30.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  - problem with installed package
 Problem 2: installed package fedora-release-kde-42-30.noarch requires fedora-release-common = 42-30, but none of the providers can be installed
  - installed package rpmfusion-nonfree-release-42-1.noarch requires system-release(42), but none of the providers can be installed
  - fedora-release-common-42-30.noarch does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  - conflicting requests

It was a clean F42 install, and I am using proprietery nvidia drivers from rpmfusion, if that makes a difference.

Appreciate any help!

This may be due to the rpmfusion-nonfree* repos being disabled.
dnf repolist should mention:

rpmfusion-nonfree            RPM Fusion for Fedora 42 - Nonfree
rpmfusion-nonfree-updates    RPM Fusion for Fedora 42 - Nonfree - Updates

If it is not the case, enable them with:

sudo dnf config-manager setopt rpmfusion-nonfree.enabled=1
sudo dnf config-manager setopt rpmfusion-nonfree-updates.enabled=1

then retry to upgrade

My god, that did it! I don’t know if/how I have ever disabled these, but this fixed it. Thank you kind sir!
