Printer not recognised by applications

Hi everyone,
Happy new year.

I have done an update recently, and when I have tried to print a document using a PDF application, or using Libre Office, the Printer does not appear on the Printer list.

Can you advise on how I can have the printer showing as printing options on all relevant applications please.

I am running a Toshiba eStudio 330AC which has been recognised by CUPS.

Please provide more detail on how the printer list is seen.
I note on my system that the last printer used is displayed when I open a print dialog but there appears to be a drop down list I can use to select a different printer if I choose.
