Power mode options (balanced and performance) limited or not avilable in kernel versions 6.1.7 and 6.1.8

Power mode options have become limited with upgraded kernel versions.

In kernel 6.1.8, both balanced and performance options are not available for selection. Only Power Saver is available and selected by default.

In kernel 6.1.7 only performance is not available for selection. Balanced and Power Saver are available and can be switched to either.

In kernel 6.1.6 all three power modes are available and can be switched to without restriction.

Yes the entire text of this issue is exactly what I am suffering as well. When I boot from kernel 6.1.6 the power modes behave properly. 6.1.7 and 6.1.8 both have the problem. The issue thread you sent me appears to have the fix waiting in queue for the next kernel rollout as mentioned. Fingers crossed.
Thank you!
