After upgrading from Fedora 39 GNOME to Fedora 40 GNOME and performing subsequent updates, I noticed that when selecting the Power Mode in the upper right corner, Power Saver and Power Performance will high light blue. Balanced Power used to but no longer does. Although each Power Selection will display a check mark next to it. Does anyone know if Balanced Power works anymore? I can’t tell from System Monitor > Resources.

works for me. do you have any other power related packages installed like TLP?
