Does anyone using Fedora on a Tablet or is it out of the question. If for instance you need to read a lot and wish to use a Kindle. Do a tablet then need a speciel designed Fedora OS software like on SmartPhones ( e/, Cyangen Mod, Linage ) ?
I did a little research and find Ubuntu for tablet for example.
If it is an Android or Apple tablet I guess some kind of emulator is needed.
Fedora linux will run on AARCH64 so basically 64bit Arm systems, it can handle touch screens, so I guess it may. If the hardware is 32 bit it won’t though.
I personally haven’t tried to do it, since I have only two tablets and both are 32 bit.
Actually, if the tablet uses android it is likely that it can run some versions of fedora. Android actually uses a linux kernel. aarch64 is 64bit and armhpf is 32 bit. Fedora supports both for the arm systems. The real conundrum is whether all the needed drivers are available for the hardware contained in the tablet.
