Possible Dependencies bug on fedora

Hello, I am trying to use the KDE calendar application: merkuro - Fedora Packages
My fedora installation uses the @critical-path-kde fedora package group for my desktop,
I do this since the regular @kde-desktop group contains a lot of unnecessary packages.
FYI, I use the “minimal fedora net” iso, with no selected packages upon initial install

My Merkuro application is broken on my machine, it doesn’t let me add any local or remote calendars, as shown below

I suspect that some dependencies are missing in the fedora Merkuro package that causes this broken functionality
I would love to know what packages I need to install to get Merkuro working

When I install the package group @kde-desktop on my current system, then try to run Merkuro, the application is still broken

Edit: I manually installed the “akonadi” package, Merkuro calendar is still broken

Welcome to Fedora @fedznshiet

You have to compare the default installation we do offer with your installation to find out what is missing. Unfortunately we can not do this for you.

What you can do is, to install the kde F41 as we do offer, in a VM to see first if it works there. If it works you would have to compare your installation with the original, to see what is missing.

If it not works, it would be good to report. This you just can do with the default we do deliver. Otherwise we will not be able to reproduce the issue.

Alright, thanks for the reply, I tried this previously, but I couldn’t figure out what package was missing
Looks like Ill need to dig deeper

@ilikelinux Thanks for the suggestion, using a VM make it a lot easier to debug the dependencies issue
Turns out I needed these packages:
kdepim-addons for the little KDE plasma tray applet to show calendar entries
kdepim-runtime to get merkuro “unbroken”
qt6-qtlocation to get merkuro running

Look at all those calendar entries! Appreciate it!
