Show keys you typed on screen, so your audiences can see what you do clearly while you are streaming or recording. This is a screenkey alternative, and works not only on X11 but also Wayland.
To install package, run the following commands:
sudo dnf copr enable pesader/showmethekey
sudo dnf install showmethekey
If you are running an Atomic Desktop (Fedora Silverblue, Fedora Kinoite, Fedora Sericea, etc), run:
sudo curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/showmethekey.repo https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/pesader/showmethekey/repo/fedora-$RELEASE/eclipseo-espanso-fedora-39.repo
rpm-ostree install showmethekey
Making sure you set
$RELEASE correctly (e.g.
export RELEASE=39 for Fedora Silverblue 39).
