I am using Fedora 42 with KDE on a high-dpi laptop monitor.
In Settings > Display and Monitor > Display Configuration, I can switch between two settings for legacy X11 applications: “Apply scaling themselves” and “Scaled by the system”. As I have a high-dpi screen, and some X11 applications are usable only with the latter option (otherwise all interface elements are very tiny), but then applications that are sharp with the former option look very blurry with the latter.
I would like to enable “Apply scaling by themselves” by default, but change the option to “Scaled by the system” for a few applications which cannot scale themselves. Is this possible?
Apologies if this already has a solution, I tried searching the forum, but most discussions regarding this were for Gnome.
