I launched an instance of Fedora Atomic 28 on AWS using a T3 instance, which has NVMe storage
On boot the partitions do not expand and the root stays at 5GB and must be manually expanded.
Using the same image, booting on a T2 instance (non-NVMe) with your typical /dev/xvda worked as expected.
